Let’s ignore the ways these hacks influenced the outcome of the election (one wonders if the left might have rallied behind Clinton in their absence; one wonders if we would want to ignore the reality that the DNC establishment was not neutral in the allegedly Democratic process). What we SHOULD be concerned with now is Mr. Trump’s affinity for Putin and Putinesque tactics…if we think Pre-Snowden America was bad, O’Bannon’s America will be something else entirely when it comes to privacy, propaganda, the weighing of civil liberties against ends and outcomes.
